CELEBRATION OF BASANT PANCHMI

Basant Panchami is a Hindu festival heralding the arrival of the spring season. It is celebrated on the fifth day of the bright half of the Hindu month of Magha. Basant Panchami is also known as Saraswati puja. This day usually falls in late January or early February.Vasant Panchami, also called Saraswati Puja in honor of the Hindu goddess Saraswati, is a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. Celebrating this festivals in schools warms the heart of child with the feeling of deevotion and knowledge.

Festivals are a time to live, love, celebrate and enjoy with family and friends. It is a time of endless joy and excitement. In India we have many different festivals and each state has their own way of celebrating these festivals. There are perks of staying in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai or any other metropolitan cities as we get to witness different cultures at one place. We at KCS feel it is very important for our kids to see and get involved in all the festivities, therefore class activity is organised "Let's Celebrate "during their regular online classes to make them aware about this .

ANIMAL SHOW

A nimals play a significant role in the stability of the environment, ecosystem, and our lives. They are excellent companions—especially the tiny mammals. The importance of animals cannot be stressed enough. Without them, our existence is not possible.An animal show is a form of exhibition featuring the display or performance of one or more breeds of animal. Thus we created an environment where our tiny tots felt closer to nature.

CELEBRATION OF PURPLE DAY

The color purple has been associated with royalty, power and wealth. To make the Pre Primary students aware to purple color, the day was celebrated at Kanossa Convent. Purple helps align oneself with the whole of the universe. Different shades, tints, and hues of purple have different meanings.The Color Purple Means Wisdom, Bravery, and Spirituality.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends, for tinsel and brightly decorated packages. It is a good time to cheer, love, care, share, and spread warmth around.

Show and Tell Activity

Show and tell is used to develop storytelling ability, bridge school and home, forge connections and bonds between students, help teachers to gain a better understanding of their students, and enhance student's communication skills, including around feelings.

Fancy Dress Competition

The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.

Diwali celebration

The five-day festival celebrates the victory of light over darkness. Hindus across the world are celebrating Diwali. Teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Children decorated diyas with colors and glitter. Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.

Independence day celebration

Independence Day is one of the most important days in the year for our country. Each year on August 15 we celebrate the day we became an independent nation, which means we were free to rule ourselves and were not ruled by anyone else. Everyone celebrates Independence day differently. Write about how you celebrate the day and compare it to your friends' celebration in an essay.

Mehendi competition

Mehndi holds a lots of cultural significance in Indian traditions. The purpose of the competition was to enhance the creativity and imagination in the field of art. ... Children made beautiful designs. Mehndi reflects the rich Indian culture, bringing together the knowledge of medicinal herbs with many lovely sentiments and beliefs. The result is a ceremony filled with fun and joy. Vedic customs are centered on the idea of “awakening the inner light”. Traditional Indian designs are representations of the sun on the palm, which, in this context, is intended to represent the hands and feet.

PARENTS ENJOYING ACTIVITIES DURING ONLINE CLASSES

Parents are the only ones who show unconditional love. Parents play the biggest role in our development. Whether it’s in our mental, physical, social, financial, or career development, parents help us in every step of our life. When we’re young, parents prepare us for the future. They work hard to prepare us for future challenges. When we make mistakes, they’re our teachers. Parents live for us. They’re happy when we are happy.

GREEN DAY CELEBRATION

'Go Green event helps to make schools and colleges sustainable. By celebrating this day, we intend to students and colleagues in schools and colleges to learn about importance that should be given to our environment.' Green day was celebrated at fundamentals to make the children aware about their surrounding & environment. Children’s were dressed in green color attire. They were taken on a “clean drive” in the school campus. Children’s went with the pluck cards saying- “go green”, save trees, “our earth-our feature-just save it”. Plant for planet”. Song &rhymes were sung to mark the occasion.

EAT HEALTHY AND STAY HEALTHY

A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet. Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they're well nourished, and eating healthy meals has been linked to higher grades, better memory and alertness, and faster information processing.

Celebration of orange Colour Day

The way we see orange used in the environment plays a major role in how we feel about it. If you associate the color with pleasant autumn evenings spent with family and friends, then you will likely have strong positive associations with the color.

Celebration of Pink Colour Day(21 - 22)

Pink takes all the passion and energy of red and tempers it with the purity of white, leaving us with the color of tenderness ,affection, youth, good health, and playfulness. We associate pink with the innocence of childhood and unabashed play. If giggles had a color, it would be pink, and pink used in design reveals a willingness to embrace wonder and creativity.
